At our Adrian, MI site, we are currently looking for a(n) Electrical Instrumentation and Controls EngineerThe EIC Engineer reports directly to the Adrian S-P Lead Engineer. This position will be responsible for the implementation, and documentation of new software like PI, Osmar, Biss and setup and programming of PLC related items. The focus for the first years will be in the area of S-P (Polymer and Hibay). Individual will be responsible for continuous improvement, project management, EIC design and every day maintenanceroduction support for infrastructure and plant equipment.Your Tasks• Implement and document software to track data.• Work with the different PLC and HMI programming• Work with software and hardware associated with safety systems.• Work with process control design• Work with maintenance and production on daily terms• Project work in the EIC area• Provide technical advice and training to production and maintenance.• Support safety discussions within Wacker analysis• Support Adrian site in the lab and infrastructureYour Profile• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering• More than 6 months of relevant experience• Electrical and control background• Familiar with PLC, HMI and PI software• High Level of interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.• High attention to detail.• Excellent organizational skills.• Excellent communication and presentation• Project management skills• Proficient in office software.• Draft various operating documents, etc.• Willing to work in a chemical manufacturing environment• Willing to program• #LI-RH1We are looking forward to your online application at www.wacker.com/careersWacker Chemical Corporation is a Minority/Female/ Disabled and Veteran EEO/AA Employer.
