Due to our steady growth, we have an immediate opening for an engineer who will be responsible for developing electrified powertrains from concept, through prototype, and to production level. The Senior Electrified Powertrain Development Engineer must have the capacity to assimilate and understand the implications of new developments, quickly responding appropriately to situations as they evolve.This position is located at our Allen Park, MI facility./spanspan style="font-size:14px;"Responsibilities/spanullispan style="font-size:14px;"Participate in development and validation of electrified powertrain controls for EV applications./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Carry out bench, dynamometer, and vehicle-based electrified powertrain development./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Analyze various data and present to team members./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Support the validation and release of controls software into production./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Perform hot climate, cold climate and high altitude development testing to meet customer objectives./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Calibrate all aspects of powertrain function, including core propulsive features, diagnostics and safety, thermal systems, high voltage, and overall vehicle integration./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Provide positive technical contributions in a project team environment./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Support various dyno and/or vehicle-based research projects./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Modify calibration as needed to collect various experimental data./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Work hands-on with various engines and components./span/li/ulspan style="font-size:14px;"Qualifications/spanullispan style="font-size:14px;"Bachelorand#8217;s degree or higher in engineering. A concentration in electrical, computer, or software is preferred./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Minimum four (4) or more years' BEV/hybrid vehicle calibration/development experience./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"An energetic and enthusiastic attitude toward vehicle testing and development./span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for work. /span/lilispan style="font-size:14px;"Willing to travel up to 15% within the U.S. and potentially internationally for development testing and customer work
