Summary

The person in this position will work in a project team environment with engineers and other designers on the detailed electrical design of various industrial systems. Responsibilities may include drafting and design using CADD software and creating electrical drawings. Work will also include designing power distribution systems and controls for industrial facilities from the ground up and incorporating electrical information into drawings from other disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two-year technical certificate or experience/coursework directly related to the job responsibilities described above

  • 10+ years of related experience

  • Proficiency using current versions of AutoCAD

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with project team members in a high-energy working environment that encourages self-initiative

  • A flexible working style and willingness to modify personal schedules when required to meet deadlines and client needs

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without the need for sponsorship

  • Acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a consulting engineering firm

NOTE: The position may involve field visits to client sites, including industrial processing facilities, power plants, and other heavy industrial facilities. Appropriate safety training will be provided.
