The successful candidate will be responsible for electronic design for an embedded application with power, digital and analog design in Advanced Electrical Center products. bResponsibilities:/bulliDevelop Electrical Center Design with integrated electronics./liliDesign for new business pursuit opportunities./liliWork with Automotive OEMs to develop and interpret customer requirements./liliFamiliarity with Automotive Functional Safety Requirements and the ISO 26262 specification./liliCreate and present technical presentations to sell and explain new electrical center designs./liliCreate schematics, bill of materials, and support PCB layouts using Mentor DxDesigner, Hyperlynx and Expedition./liliSupport product validation and testing./liliDevelop project timing using tools such as Microsoft Project./liliSupport Vehicle and breadboard testing at OEM./liliPerform design FMEA, worst case circuit analysis./liliSupport the cross functional team including software, systems engineering, purchasing, PCB layout, documentation./liliFamiliarity with AGILE work process and tools including JIRA and Polarian./liliAbility to travel domestically (3-4 times per year) and internationally (1-2 times per year)./liliEnsure compliance with customer specific requirements./li/ulbMust Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):/bulliBachelor's degree in uElectrical Engineering./u/lili2+ years' experience with embedded micro-controller design./lili2+ years' experience with schematic design and PCB layout tool (CAE); preferably with Mentor tool-set./li/ulbNice to Haves (i.e. Preferred Qualifications):/bulliMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering./liliISO 26262 Functional Safety Certification./liliPrevious experience with C/C++ embedded software compilers, debugging and testing./liliDemonstrated p
