The EE Systems Validation Engineer is responsible for developing electrical system validation test plans and procedures for automotive body, audio, active chassis and/or safety systems. This position will require the extensive use of CANoe / Canylizer ethernet testing tools and traditional electrical testing equipment in an electrical lab atmosphere to test and troubleshoot vehicle systems. The Candidate will use automated test benches to support above systems and will execute semi-automated bench testers using CANoe test scripts, troubleshoot complex automotive electrical audio system issues and will enter issues into a common database (EE portal / GIMs). Candidate will also Interface with release engineers as required using CANlog objective data.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
1 year of engineering experience
Knowledge of CAN Diagnostic Tools and Simulation/bench testing equipment
Capable of developing requirement based test plans for electrical systems
Capable of performing vehicle and system level validation
Experience with CANoe and other Diagnostic Equipment
Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R processes
Must have good written and verbal communication and be fluent in English
Expert in analog and high-speed digital design, embedded systems
Extensive experience in high-speed digital and logic design
Proficient in all aspects of project development from vision and scope through all phases of design, development, implementation, deployment and project exit
System or Component automated bench testing design experience including knowledge of .net programming languages
