What You Will Be Doing
The Hybrid Powertrain Calibration Engineer will help oversee all aspects of calibration on hybrid vehicles (passenger and light-duty).
This position will split time between our technical center and onsite at an OEM 5 minutes away. Calibration will occur in test cells and prototype vehicles.
You will support general hybrid powertrain calibration tasks while interfacing w/ other engineers and techs.
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of professional automotive experience
BS Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or relevant STEM field (Masters preferred)
Technical/Professional Skills Requirements:
Advanced understanding of internal combustion and hybrid: engines/transmissions/battery systems
Advanced understanding of production engine and transmission calibration best practices
Expert-level command of calibration tools ETAS INCA
Expert-level command of controls development tools like MATLAB/Simulink
