Employer: Dassault Systèmes Simulia Corp.Title: Industry Process ConsultantLocation: 900 North Squirrel Road, Suite 100, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 Duties: Execute fluid dynamics projects with the SIMULIA Fluids suite, from complete model preparation to execution of simulation, results analysis, and presentation. Working as an engineering member as part of the company’s Fluids group, execute projects and deploy industry-leading solutions for an expanding range of applications. Collaborate with applications management to deploy thermal and aeroacoustics applications in customer projects for both accuracy validation and product use. Interact with the development team on product testing of new capabilities. Carry out project engineering tasks, including setting up simulation cases, administering runs, collecting and analyzing results, executing technical research, writing up analyses, and preparing presentations of results. Provide analysis, allowing customers to optimize product design to meet airflow and thermal and noise requirements based on thermal, acoustic, and aerodynamic simulations. Assist in executing engineering aspects of strategic business initiatives at key customer accounts. Work on and manage multiple customer projects quickly and efficiently using SIMULIA’s Fluids software. Engage in researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve customer issues. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. Position is fixed location based in Auburn Hills office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. Multiple positions available. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field plus two years experience analyzing and understanding complex simulation results and proposing design improvements.
