The responsibilities include definition of issues and driving resolution with internal and supplier team. The Supervisor will work with CST/quality team to define specific problem in customer terms. He/she will translate problem definition into physics based technical description, lead team members to determine root cause, alternatives, corrective actions, and execute change implementation. The selected candidate will Interface with engine, controls, transmission hardware, vehicle platform, powertrain synthesis and other cross functional teams. This applies to carry over products and future programs. The responsibilities will also include goal setting, mid-year and end of year PLM feedback, recruiting, and coaching activities.Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor of Science in ME, EE or equivalent from an ABET accredited university•Minimum of 8 years accumulated experience in engine systems, calibration, powertrain systems or related engineering positions•Thorough understanding of engine system fundamentals•Proven leadership skills•Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills•Outstanding problem solving and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications:•Master of Science ME, EE, Chemical Engineering or Masters of Science from an ABET accredited university•Experience with MATLAB / Simulink hardware in the loop development/verification•Database management of production calibrations•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint•Experience leading a group of engineers towards the accomplishment of complex tasks•Experience in transmission controls and/or calibrationOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
