Systems Technical Project Lead - High Voltage Box Electrification

The NA Electrification HV Box System SystemTechnical Project Leader (STPL) is the engineering lead of this system project. As such, this individual is the overall leader of all technical aspects of the HV Box development activity, including requirements, design, implementation, prototyping, and verification of system, software, electrical, and mechanical aspects. The HV Box SysTPL drives the technical planning, decision making, trade-offs, and technical risk management for the engineering activities, in collaboration with the Program Manager, and the Software / Electrical / Mechanical Leads.
The HVBox SysTPL manages and participates in the solicitation and review of local NA customer HV Box requirements and constraints, and ensures alignment on technical content and strategy with the Vitesco global HV Box activities and stakeholders.
The HVBox Chief Engineer / SysTPL manages and participates in the solicitation and review of local NA OEM customer HV Box requirements and constraints, and ensures alignment on technical content and strategy with the Vitesco global HV Box activities and stakeholders.
Bachelors degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline
7+ years of automotive engineering experience, including multiple product launches
Experience in an engineering lead, techncal lead, or supervisor role in an ECU development environment
Expertise in embedded automotive ECUs, microcontrollers, operating systems, AUTOSAR
Knowledge of production technology, processes, and existing system platforms
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering or MBA
Expertise in performing cross-discipline, cross-customer engineering activities in a global plaform / reuse environment
Experienced with agile methodology; change management, continuous improvement, driving sustainable development, etc.
Experience leading process driven development according to Automotive SPICE requirements
3+ years experience as an engineering supervisor/manager in the automotive industry
