Aerotek Electrical Engineer in Bay City, Michigan


Electrical Engineer

The main responsibility is to help implement power distribution and control schematics for the site. The will work out the headquarters in Bay City but then coordinate activities with Project Leads and travel to sites on occasion to see or work with activities first hand. Will work with Nick Klein who is the engineering manager to get an assigned project. Then work with the site personnel to define the scope of the project, develop budgets, drawings, specifications and bid packages for the power and controls portion of the projects. Once all the initial steps are in line. Candidate will then follow the project through construction, inspection and commissioning.

Primary Responsibilities are....

  • Evaluate power and control system needs for the assigned project

  • Develop a power and control system wiring diagram and or equipment layout

  • Develop bid packages for suppliers

  • Work through quotes and procurement piece

  • Manage and track progress of the installation
