LVD Design is responsible for utility electrical distribution designs 25kV and below, from distribution substation exits to the customer meter./span/span/span/span/span/span/span spanspanspanspanuspanspanJob Description/Responsibilities/span/span/u/span/span/span/span spanspanspanspanspanspanspanPrimarily responsible for electric design on the Low Voltage Distribution (LVD) /span/span/spanspanspansystem. The LVD Design Technician will design projects as required through the Customer Energy Management department for new business and LVD Planning department for system improvement. /span/span/span/span/span/span spanspanspanspanspanspanCEM includes customer Project Coordinators and LVD Planning includes distribution Circuit Owners. These are the two main internal clients of the LVD Design department. Designs flow to Scheduling (and then to Field Construction) for execution in partnership with LVD Planning and CEM. /span/span/span/span/span/span spanspanspanspanspanspanKey Responsibilities in this area include:/span/span/span/span/span/spanullispanspanspanspanspanspanDesign various new business projects, including line extensions (primary, secondary) and services of various degrees of difficulty and customer types (residential, commercial, industrial, developments)/span/span/span/span/span/span/lilispanspanspanspanspanspanDesign electric distribution systems for customer relocation, capacity projects, system failures, reliability projects, and grid modernization./span/span/span/span/span/span/lilispanspanspanspanspanspanDesign in a CAD system/span/span/span/span/span/span/lilispanspanspanspanspanspanIdentify other pole attachments/span/span/span/span/span/span/lilispanspanspanspanspanspanWork with the Right of Way department to negotiate with customers in obtaining easements /span/span/span/spanlt
