What you will be able to do

You will play an exciting role in our efforts to continually deliver incredible driving experiences that thrill our customers. As a key member of our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Modeling and Simulation group, you will support our research and developmental efforts in ADAS. You will:

  • Build advanced simulations using LIDAR/RADAR/ultrasound/camera models to develop and verify Driver Assistance Technologies (DAT) and ADAS technologies

  • Design and conduct experiments to validate DAT/ADAS system and subsystem performance

  • Develop 3D models of highways, cities and test tracks with gaming engine rendering tools

  • Implement and automate regression and functional tests for simulation software components

  • Analyze and review simulation test data

  • Ensure proper correlation to physical testing by utilizing real-time and post-processing data analysis tools (Matlab, etc.)

  • Build and maintain simulation documentation including requirements, procedures, plans and reports

The minimum requirements we seek

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science

  • Two or more years of experience using Matlab and/or Simulink

  • At least two years of experience programming with C and/or C++ One or more years of experience developing closed-loop simulations for automotive systems

Our preferred requirements

  • Strong interdisciplinary background in engineering and science

  • Solid programming skills

  • One or more years of experience with simulation-in-the-loop using CARSIM

  • Experience building virtual simulation scenarios or level maps using Unreal gaming engine

  • Experience programming simulation capabilities with Unreal blueprints and gaming engine plug-ins
