BS Mechanical Engineering.
10 -15 Years with a sound working knowledge of mechanics, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics
In Project Management
Reducing cost and complexity through use of VA/VE tools.
In New Product Development and Introduction
Translating customer requirements into engineering requirements, prototypes and end products.
Understanding of materials and processes with some of the following: castings, forgings, heat treatment, welding, cutting, or forming.
What You’ll Do
At STANLEY Infrastructure, Project Engineers simultaneously leads cross-functional project teams on different types of projects to successfully achieve performance, quality, cost and delivery objectives. Projects include reducing complexity to improving the cost and quality of existing products as well as the introduction of new and improved tools and accessories. Project Engineers also work alongside Product Engineers to provide guidance and direct engineering support to projects.
This role is approximately 65% Project Management and 35% engineering. It is responsible to:
Facilitate discussions on cross functional teams to develop detailed action plans.
Bring team members together on a regular basis to raise and resolve issues, gain and maintain alignment on key decisions and keep projects on track.
Provide leadership and engineering support to solve technical problems as well as develop countermeasures to keep projects on track to achieve Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
Obtain financial approval and project funding codes for projects.
Perform Product Engineering functions as needed to support the teams and the projects.
