divAcara Solutions is assisting our client in Escanaba, Michigan to fill the key role of Reliability Engineer - Electrical within their team. The Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for safely developing and implementing sound electrical reliability practices to reduce manufacturing process downtime through predictivereventative maintenance systems./divdivKey Accountabilities:/divulliAlways make safety most important. Emphasize safety to all levels of the facility./liliEnhance and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance systems to minimize equipment downtime in all areas of the mill./liliProvide engineering leadership and expertise to solve ongoing and reocurring electrical problems./liliManage the milland#8217;s electrical and instrumentation title V PMand#8217;s./liliManage multiple projects from conception through completion./liliUtilize root cause failure analysis to identify predictive and appropriate maintenance procedures./liliProvide reliability, engineering and technical support to mill operations and maintenance./liliWork outage days as needed participate on the E/I on-call rotation./liliSupport and execute breaker and power system maintenance./liliApply the concepts of precision maintenance to ensure the equipment is designed, repaired, balanced, and aligned to strictly enforce standards before being placed in service./liliDevelop and enhance area Best Practices (BP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)./liliSupport the mill-wide closure of R-Gap./li/uldiv /div brbrdivMinimum Required Experience and Education:/divulliBachelorand#8217;s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent training and/or experience./liliMinimum of 2-5 yearsand#8217; experience in the industrial electrical field, preferred./liliPrior paper machine or pulp mill experience a plus./liliTechnical expertise in the area of PLC programming, Motor Control and AC/DC drives etc./liliExperience with electrical power and power distribution./liliAbility to handle multiple time sensitive projects and issues./liliAbility to interact effectively with all levels or personnel, both hourly and management./liliProficient computer skills and the ability to learn and function in SAP. /liliStrong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and decision making skills, as well as initiative and the ability to delegate decision making and other responsibilities./liliWill take ownership to drive the implementations of solutions to produce positive results. /liliHas the demonstrated ability to analyze data and apply a risk-based decision making process./li/uldivbrbrbrbrAleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct, and Aleron?s strategic partner, SDI) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
