Using proprietary algorithms, these intelligent systems sense, calculate and adapt to help drivers avoid or mitigate an accident. Within the Global Electronics Business Unit, a student will be an integral part of a skilled engineering team working directly on various assignments that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Job assignments will be placed in the following area:
· Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS)
· Integrated Electronics
· Sensor Technologies
· Safety Electronics
· Passive Safety
Core Duties (may include not limited to)
Contribute to the development of a multi-camera 360° view system
Develop with next generation centralized sensing and semi-autonomous and autonomous architectures
Prepare and support prototype deliveries
Integrating system requirements to ensure customer satisfaction
Support hardware development for active and passive safety systems
Interact with team members from different groups to gain insight in to unique challenges from a different perspective
Required Education and Experience
Must be currently pursuing a 4-year college degree
Experience and Skill Requirements
•Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering
•Previous experience in Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, SAE, IEEE, or other electrical engineering activities is a plus
•Strong Microsoft suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
•Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment
