Within the Global Electronics Business Unit, a student will be an integral part of a skilled engineering team working directly on various assignments that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Job assignments will be placed in the following area:
Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS)
Core Duties (may include not limited to)
Work in a team environment, often with cross-functional team members from CAD, purchasing, manufacturing, and other groups, to apply engineering principles to create effective designs
Utilize CAD, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and CAE engineering tools such as Catia, NX, DOORS, Integrity, Excel, and others, to ensure accurate and robust designs
Perform and coordinate laboratory testing of prototype components and systems and analyze results
Troubleshoot camera level assembly and create root cause analysis for issue
Prepare and support prototype deliveries
Required Education and Experience
Must be pursuing a 4 year degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience and Skill Requirements
•Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering
•Previous experience in Automotive, Mechanical, Robotics, SAE, activities is a plus
•Strong Microsoft suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
•Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment
