Drive System Design is a global consultancy specializing in the engineering and development of transmissions and dynamic system optimization of transmissions and driveline systems, including NVH simulation, gear design/transmission error optimization, efficiency improvements, and lubricant flow and shift quality enhancements. style="line-height: 1.2;"1. style="line-height: 1.2;"Outline of Role style="font-size: 1.2em; line-height: 1.4em;"ulliBased at the Farmington Hills, MI-USA, office with occasional work on site at client offices expected/liliSome travel within the USA and to overseas client sites is also anticipated/liliDesign with multiple 3D CAD, simulation and analysis packages, hand calculations/liliLiaison with customers and suppliers/liliExperience in the design of mechanical systems, rotating components an advantage/liliAbility to apply knowledge of analytical techniques to the design process required/liliCommunicating with customers and suppliers/li/ulA high level of aptitude is expected along with the ability to determine innovative solutions to the numerous design challenges which present themselves during a typical design project.
