bDescription/b Molex CMS product team is seeking a bManufacturing Integration Engineer/b (MIE) to develop and launch manufacturing processes for the large pipeline of new products we are bringing in our plants across the globe. You will be a member of our cross functional design team and work closely with the other partners that build our automotive electronic products. These parts are getting faster, denser, smarter, and more complex with every evolution. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the manufacturing strategy, designing the production processes, and managing our tooling and automation suppliers as they build and deliver our lines and tooling. The result or your effort will be the flawless launch of a robust manufacturing process capable of meeting our customersand#8217; requirements. font class="bold"What You Will Do In Your Role/fontulliUnderstand the overall project proposal. Participate in DFA/DFM activities along with cross functional team. Consider manufacturing plantand#8217;s feedback based on their lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts. /liliBased of volumes, proposed design, and performance metrics, put together appropriate manufacturing strategy./liliWork with equipment vendors during equipment design, development, testing, and qualification. Collaborate apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. Actively contribute to equipment performance and acceptance runs. /liliParticipate in equipment design reviews. Solicit observations from operators and technicians./liliImprove manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout./liliProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements./liliServe as a voice of Business Unit in the plant and make sure plantsand#8217; feedback is considered by the Business Unit. /liliUnderstanding of automation components to build a manufacturing process with desired performance metrics is necessary./li/ul font class="bold"The Experience You Will Bring/fontfont class="bold"Requirements:/fontulliBachelorand#8217;s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Control System, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering disciplines/lili5+ years of experience in the manufacturing process design/lili5+ years of experience with suppliers to build automated equipment/liliAbility to understand customer technical needs, specifications and advanced automotive architecture and effectively provide solutions to both the customer and present these opts to Molex Business Unit/liliExperience designing mechanical equipment, fixturing and tooling in CAD /liliWilling and able to travel up to 20-30%, including potential international travel/li/ul font class="bold"What Will Put You Ahead/fontulliMasterand#8217;s Degree in Engineering/liliExperience with electronics manufacturing processes/liliExperience with screwing, dispensing, and soldering processes/lili3+ years in automotive electronics manufacturing tier-1 advanced manufacturing development and design/li/ul br spanSalary and Benefits Commensurate with Experience.br Equ
