The successful candidates will have experience working in the material handling industry. Candidates must have the below qualifications:Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms a necessity.Experience with controls hardware design a necessity.Siemens and Modicon PLC experience a plus.Design work is to be expected. The ability to work proficiently within the ACADE 2008 environment will be beneficial when being considered as a candidate.Willingness to work weekends, overtime and to travel is a must. 10% 30% travel is to be expected.Minimum of 5-8 years of successful experience in related field.Experience providing Customer Service SupportStrong verbal communication skills over the phoneTroubleshooting experienceComfortableworking independentlyDatabase Administration skills preferredJob Family Responsibilities:Participates in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software. Provides support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up. Refers semi-complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems.QualificationsEducation:Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, but may be substituted with experience. Certification may be required in some areas.Knowledge and Experience:Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
