Work will include integrating process, mechanical, electrical, and control requirements into comprehensive systems. Responsibilities include completion of design and analysis, preparation of plans and specifications, conceptual studies, field installation, and cost estimating. Detailed design work will include developing process and instrumentation diagrams (PIDs), control valve sizing, instrument selection, instrument data sheets, instrument installation details, logic descriptions, logic diagrams, control system integration (either DCS or PLC), and schematic and wiring diagrams. Candidates should have a working knowledge of preparing all of these deliverables.
