Battery Test Engineer (WD30053170260)What you will doUnder general supervision, this position is responsible for conducting design verification testing for Li-ion and lead acid battery programs.How you will do it•Conduct battery testing including characterization, life testing and abuse testing.•Testing will include; but is not limited to lithium ion, lead acid, modules and energy storage systems.•Develop test plans and protocols for battery technology development and evaluation.•Solve day-to-day technical problems associated with routine testing.•Prepare detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of project goals.•Plan and schedule work to effectively utilize resources and balance testing priorities.•Use mathematical models and statistical techniques to summarize data and prepare reports of test results.
