The Cabinet Designer/Engineer produces the guidelines and technical details of the chamber or component system that is to be built by using computer-aided design (CAD) systems to create models and drawings for the manufacturing team. This position includes design and project management responsibilities.Responsibilities:ulliProduces 3D models and drawings for products to be built by the manufacturing team./liliUpdates and revises models and drawings per instructions by the Engineering Manager./liliCreates print and parts list packages for release to manufacturing./liliDesign of chamber structures and components, utilizing simulation features of Autodesk Inventor software/liliAnswers questions from the manufacturing team when clarifications are needed and supports the team in the manufacturing process./li/ulQualifications:1. CAD certificate or equivalent experience or training in CAD systems, specifically Autodesk Inventor required.2. Mechanical aptitude required.3. Mechanical engineering degree or similar equivalent training preferred.4. Two or more years of related work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.5. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the manufacturing and engineering teams.6. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.Federal Contractor/Drug Free WorkplaceJob Type: Full-time
