The Test Lab team within the Quality department of Stryker’s Medical division is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer. We are searching for a hands-on engineer that is energized by an innovative and fast paced environment. What You Will Do:
You will partner with product teams to build and execute comprehensive test plans, including coordination of outsourced testing with 3rd party labs when necessary.
You will design, develop and refine test fixtures and test systems.
You will design test scripts, develop controls and acquire data from our testing platforms.
You will build testing capability by investigating and implementing advancements in statistical techniques, test methods, control systems, data acquisition, analytics, or electrical software testing automation.
You will collaborate across Test Lab, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams throughout product development testing activities
You will handle multiple project streams in a fast-paced environment proactively planning for future testing
You will troubleshoot issues found in test and on embedded systems through hands on experience with test equipment performing hardware analysis and debugging
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
2+ years of experience
Understanding of circuit design, schematics, PCBAs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Science Engineering
Experience with data acquisition and test control systems, PLCs.
Experience with printed circuit boards and electrical subsystems.
Experience with LabVIEW, Veristand, Test Stand, Python, C, MATLAB or PLCs is preferred.
Understanding and use of analytical methods/tools for analyzing electrical and software platforms. Use of oscilloscopes, multimeters.
Inclination to learn new things, ability to multitask/prioritize tasks and proactively find solutions.
Experience working in Medical Device Quality System or other regulated industry is preferred
Eagerness to assist internal and external customers, ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to collaborate across functions to achieve objectives and ensure project success
Effective interpersonal communication skills
