The team's services cover all aspects of clients' needs from advisory, auditing, certification and inspection to outsourcing, quality assurance, testing, training and more.This position is responsible for conducting chemical analysis, evaluating data and communicating results with clients.DUTIES:Set up, operate and maintain test equipment including, but not limited to, GC/MS, HPLC, and environmental chambers.Evaluating performance of air filtration devices for removal of gaseous contaminates.Use hand tools to prepare samples as needed.Lead routine projects; Performing testing, analysis and reporting while maintaining project backlog.Communicate project status and test results to client, sales personnel, and management throughout testing. Provide on-going support to clients as needed.Prepare project files in compliance with operating procedures.eview project data and reports as necessary.Support the training of technicians.Maintain laboratory and support continuous improvement objectives.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:achelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical EngineeringExperience operating GC/MS preferredAbility to perform analytical chemistry techniques used in the analysis of solids, liquids, and/or gasesAbility to use basic shop equipment and hand tools.e aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at workAbility to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlinesMust be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time managementAbility to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formatsMust possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job dutiesMust be customer focused and quality drivenAbility to travel as business needs dictateA career with Intertek means joining a global network of professionals dedicated to bringing quality and safety to life.
