Due to our steady growth, we are seeking an Electronics and Software Controls Engineerto develop, modify or create control systems for a variety of projects (in various industries) through the deployment of hardware and/or software. This position will be located in our Livonia, MI facility. class="MsoNoSpacing"bResponsibilities/bulli class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Capture and document customersystem/hardware/software requirements/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Specify, design and develop control system electronics hardware, sensors, and actuators/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Design and develop system wiring, including wiring schematics, conductor, connector and terminal selection/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Design, develop, and verify software and control algorithms to meet requirements/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Develop system plant models for control system development/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Perform data analysis and system control tuning/calibration/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Perform system testing and troubleshooting, ensuring a control system meets requirements/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Effectively interface with co-workers and customers in meetings/li/ul class="MsoNoSpacing"bQualifications/bulli class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Must be a US citizen or US lawful permanent resident allowing for ITAR compliance/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Minimum 2 years of post-graduate working experience in controls (automotive or military vehicle level preferred)/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Experience in embedded systems applicationand its testing/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, C, C++, Python software languages/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Experience with CANbus, Serial, and Ethernet communications/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics, and a good understanding of electrical and electronics basics/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write concise technical reports as an Electronics and Software Controls Engineer/lili class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:8px"Initiative to work independently and hand
