The candidate will lead fabrication of electrical wiring harnesses used in prototype testing by North American Test & Validation (T&V) Center of ZF Global Electronics. The candidate will work closely with suppliers of harnesses to ensure highest quality and competitive costs. The candidate will procure harness materials, including connectors, terminals, grommets, etc., and ensure sufficient material stock to support T&V production schedules. The candidate will organize work packages for harness suppliers.
The candidate will act as a liaison between ZF test engineers responsible for harness design and harness fabricators.
The candidate will review harness designs and ensure they contain sufficient level of details for accurate and quality fabrication by suppliers.
The candidate may be required to perform occasional harness rework and also full harness fabrication.
The candidate will work in team environment where clear communication is a must have.
Essential Skills and Experience:
2 - 3 years of experience in Automotive testing and / or electronics fabrication.
The candidate needs to be highly organized and fluent with paperwork, including processing quotes, purchase requests, invoicing and filing.
The candidate should be able to read electrical wiring drawings and have solid hands-on experience with automotive wiring harness fabrication.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Basic knowledge in electronics
