Title: Design Engineer

Location: Madison Heights, MI

Responsibilities

• Design custom lifting devices utilizing customer supplied data, pictures and drawings.

• Clear communication skills both written and verbal to work through detailed design reviews with the customers.

• Create 3D modeling of the designs to show functionality as well as situational conditions.

• Primarily pneumatic however electrical servo motor experience is desired.

• Please see example videos as reference to the types of devices designed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum of 3 or more years experience in Design Engineering

• Mechanical experience required

• Structural engineering background highly preferred

• Proficient with AutoCAD; CREO is a plus

• Experience with designing custom equipment

• Experience with pneumatic controls a huge plus

• Experience with material handling and lift assist a plus

Duration

• 12 months – opportunity for contract to extend and possible contract to direct
