Tenneco is seeking a driven, self-motivated Engineering focused student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience working at our fast paced Manufacturing facility located in Marshall, Michigan.

As a Tenneco Summer Engineering Intern, you will be given the opportunity to learn about your chosen career field through hands-on work, management shadowing opportunities, and training events, among other responsibilities that support the Engineering department.

Required Skills

Required of an Intern:Must be able to work independently and in a team based environmentExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsEffective time management skillsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Minimum Qualifications:Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institutionStudent with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higherAbility to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship period May-August 2021Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's licenseAbility to provide own transportation to/from the job siteLegally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institutionStudent with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
