We are seeking aAssociate Scientist for ourFormulations Group site located inMattawan, MI.
The following are responsibilities related to theAssociate Scientist:
An Associate Scientist is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of test material formulation projects according to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or GLP regulations.This individual demonstrates scientific aptitude in the field of test material formulation and the instruments and techniques used in that field. This individual completes work independently, assists others in the completion of their work, and uses assigned resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
The following are minimum qualifications related to theAssociate Scientist position:
MS/BS/BA in relevant field and 2-3 years of relevant experience; contract research organization experience preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Previous experience in a GLP environment.
Working knowledge of GLPs and industry guidance documents.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system.
Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice.
Ability to work under specific time constraints.
