Mechatronics Engineer

The Mechatronics Engineer (Mechatronics Coordinator) supports and advises on technical aspects of the system and is responsible for developing, maintaining and releasing product engineering deliverables and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the integration of the software into the overall system under consideration of release and test planning.

  • Coordinating with the Subsystem Coordinator(s) (SSC), the E/E Coordinator (EEC), the component manager (BTV), and the System Test Manager (STM).

  • Analyzing and rectifying faults in mechatronic systems in cooperation with other specialist(s) (e.g. STM, EEC).

  • Supporting test execution as well as prototype assembling.

  • Supporting the creation of the system FMEA.

  • Comply with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Support in construction of prototypes

  • Participate in product design reviews and FMEA

  • Contribute to quality improvement and optimization of existing mechartronics products range

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 1+ years working experience in mechanical/mechatronic design.

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions

  • Experience in script programing, embedded system flashing, diagnosing

  • Experience in specification review

  • Problem Solving & Analytical Methods: Red-X, DFSS, DFMEA and PFMEA
