The aim of the project is to deliver quality assurance assessments and reports about the development process and results based on the monitoring of the following activities: Development of a 48 V Li-ion storage system with 48 V Mild hybrid systems in vehicles up to series production. This includes both the development of the energy storage/battery (cell, mechanics) and the development of the Battery Management System (BMS).
Assessment of the project status with focus on software, hardware and functional maturity in terms of content and time.
Assess the performance of the project structure, organization and the skills/resources used by the supplier.
Review of project milestones and testing for plausibility.
If observations show deviations from a target-oriented development process or result, define correcting measures to report to Munich.
Selected vendor will track the implementation of all corrective measures
Participate at weekly status meetings with the supplier
Weekly written status reports with focus on:
Assessing the performance of the project structure, organization and the skills/resources used by the supplier.
Project status with focus on software, hardware and functional maturity (content and time) based on the supplier's status report.
Evaluation of project and action milestones reported by the supplier with plausibility check
The presence on site at the supplier must be documented regarding exact date and time, number of persons and duration of the presence.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of automotive battery management system software
Experience with high voltage battery system electrical performance test case development
Failure analysis and problem solving experience on the high voltage battery system
