MARTIN is seeking an Electrification Leader to champion initiatives aligned with design and development, manufacturing, testing, and lifecycle management of HV Batteries and Electric Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

What you will be able to drive !

  • Strategic development of electrification business segment initiatives

  • Leadership in design and development of HV Batteries and Electric Vehicle application

  • Use technical knowledge and experience in evaluating customer requests for quote (RFQs) relative to high voltage applications

  • Assume electrical engineering responsibility for all product development phases, including quoting, prototypes, testing, validation, and release to production.

  • Provide innovative ideas for improving product performance, manufacturing efficiencies, and cost.

  • Prepare and design files to support customers requirements on high voltage system componentry for hybrid and/or electric vehicle technologies.

  • Interpret customer specifications to define requirements for program scope of work

  • Adhere to corporate procedures and processes.

  • Perform hardware integration and support systems hardware / software integration.

  • Provide complete program development documentation relative to product verification

  • Write product and test specifications.

  • Provide sustaining engineering on existing products supporting manufacturing and test departments.

  • Design tests to verify functionality equipment and design be utilized in the manufacturing process

  • Create, support, and update DFMEAs and DVPRs as required


  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in automotive electrification design, manufacturing, testing

  • 2+ year of experience with battery controls, management, battery pack assembly and Integration

  • Minimum of 3 years? experience in the design of power conversion equipment or related equivalent experience and/or training

  • Experience designing high voltage power supplies.

  • Proven track record of delivering project specific deliverables including direct experience with components, batteries, and electric motor function

  • Knowledge of high voltage automotive systems and electric and/or hybrid electric vehicle systems

  • Experience with power electronics component design

  • Experience with schematic design and board layout

  • Proven effective communication with program team and customer representatives is essential

  • Extremely organized, accurate and possesses a strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive in solving and analyzing problems

  • Able to effectively interface with other disciplines in the organization to achieve result in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver analysis on difficult projects with tight timing constraints

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
