SUMMARY This position is the primary and technical liaison between Omron Automtive Electronics, Inc and the customer's technical staff. The primary focus is to support the customer on specific product requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Technical liaison with customer by determining requirements for product applications, including performance, physical requirements, testing, documentation and warranty.

*Communicate customer requirements to Omron organization, primarily Sales and Product Engineering, plus Manufacturing and Quality. *Ensure that Omron product engineering team is aware of customer’s specific requirements. *Ensure that Omron program management team plans meet the customer requirements to meet launch timing. *Accurately communicate all customer deliverables to the product engineering team, program management team, sales and management. *Report customer feedback to management. *Coordinate resolution of technical issues with customer, Omron Sales and Product Engineering. Report to Account Manager and follow up to insure timely resolution. *Support product and company presentations with technical, product-related content. *Prepare technical documentation for use in meetings and presentations. *Prepare reports, sketches and drawings as needed for communication. *Secure approved drawings and documentation as needed from customers and Omron Product Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS

*Bachelor of Science Engineering degree *3-5 years in product design or technical support position. *Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as customer specific software applications.
