Job Description

The Video Hardware group is responsible for delivering near range and forward looking automotive cameras. The system engineer within the Video Hardware group will be responsible for gathering the customer requirements, driving additional requirements where needed and allocating these requirements to the engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, optics and software). The engineer will be a key member of both the platform and customer teams ensuring that all requirements are addressed. Additionally the system engineer will be responsible for defining system level test requirements.


The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience with DOORS for requirements management and testing traceability.

  • Interface with the customer and Bosch local team on technical concepts.

  • Support new business development by providing technical expertise and preparation and presentation of review material.

  • Experience with rear view and front view camera functions (e.g. automatic emergency breaking, object detection and classification, lane marker detection).

  • Minimum of three years of system engineer experience.

  • Camera hardware, mechanical or optics design experience preferred.
