Within Chassis Controls Active Safety – Engineering for Asian Customers department we are responsible for the "in-vehicle" calibration/testing of the Electronic Stability Control device (ABS/TCS/ESP/ESC/ACC/ADAS) and the Electronic Brake Booster (Vacuum free brake boost and ADAS) which both manage vehicle movement and motion during safety critical situations as well as highly automated driving. We work side by side with Function and Performance Developers within the USA and globally across many Bosch/Customer locations. We are in regular contact with our customers and actively work with them in their prototype vehicles to develop, refine, and validate their systems and requirements at test facilities around the world.

In the end our department delivers the calibration, software, and technical management to achieve our customer targets. We deliver on our commitment to the customer, and support their vision for the future of mobility.

Job Description

Technical interface between customer and internal technical project teams for ESP + iBooster brake systems.

Project handling and project documentation according to specified processes.

Coordination of test vehicles and necessary equipment to enable the Performance Development environment.

Participation in vehicle test sessions in different locations (summer and winter).

Calibration, Verification and Validation of ABS/TCS/ESC Brake Modulation Systems (in vehicle testing).


Enrolled in Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, and/or CS).

University level strong verbal and written communication skills necessary.

Accountable and strong sense of ownership for success of assigned work products.

Interest in automotive techniques, vehicle dynamics and control theory.

Interest/desire for planning and conduction of tests as well as evaluation of test results.

Vehicle driving experience (willing to learn operating a vehicle at the physical limits).

Team oriented working style.

Flexible, in order to participate in test sessions in different locations.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree with at least one semester completed

  • Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
