Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Plymouth, Michigan facility is seeking temporary summer support to perform various functions associated with manufacturing operations, such as:

  • Assist engineers in set-up and calibration tasks & perform rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies

  • Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment

  • Determine and possibly assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process

  • Assist Engineers in conducting experiments

Education and Work Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2ndyear in a 4-year technical degree program in Physics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or other technical discipline

  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Desired Qualifications:

  • SolidWorks experience

  • Good organizational skills and project management skills
