Job Description

The PQ engineer is a review partner concerning quality topics for the project leader and/or the responsible development leader* (on eye-level) and the project /development team (e.g. SE-Team, SEC, ISEC, SCRUM-Team).As expert for the product quality the PQ engineer enables the project/development team to plan, apply and track the preventive quality assurance measures in development projects and activities, and is actively involved in the development activities.The PQ engineer provides by independent, objective and fact based evaluation of the product maturity a timely transparency of the quality status (4-eye principle) and supports the project leader in the identification, visualization and communication of risks and opportunities

Qualifications

Requirements:- Bachelors degree in electronics or related field- 4+ years of experience in project quality development

Preferred:- Deep understanding of quality management and experience in preventive quality process.- Good project management skills, like planning, coordinating, prioritizing and communicating complex tasks within the project team and taking active initiative to solve difficulties.- Technical understanding in reading blueprints and discussing technical terms and specifications with suppliers.- Proactive and able to work independently, but also as a part of team.- Flexible in ability to adapt to different project requirements, environments and able to travel if necessary.- Knowledge of product engineering process, engineering tools and quality processes (e.g. FMEA)- Availability for potential training in Germany- Experiences with navigation systems products is a plusSoft skills:- Initiative, creativity, persuasion and assertiveness- Self-motivated and responsible way of working
