Job Description

The system engineer will lead the requirements elicitation and clarification activities with the customer. Further, the system engineer will oversee all aspects of the development project like system architecture, cyber security, feature development and integration. Projects include vehicle communication gateways, body control modules, perfectly keyless, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements clarification with customer

  • Responsible for system architecture

  • Manage system requirements in DOORS or similar RQM tools

  • Interface to all internal development teams (SW, HW, mechanical)

  • Coordinate and track activities with local and offshore system test team

  • Change and defect management

  • Manage cyber security activities for project/product


Basic Qualifications:

  • MS or BS in Engineering or Computer Science discipline

  • 5+ years of work experience in an engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5+ years of system engineering experience in automotive (or related) industry

  • Knowledgeable in CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet

  • Cyber security experience

  • System level experience on projects with multiple third party software providers

  • Experienced with DOORS and ALM tool chains

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Proven organized and efficient handling of complex requirements

  • Experienced in working in large, complex and global projects/teams

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
