Limbach Company LLC Commissioning Engineer in Pontiac, Michigan

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:The incumbent facilitates the commissioning process on identified projects throughout the construction and acceptance phases.KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops commissioning milestone goals, and schedules the related activities for assigned projects.Tracks project completion, deficiencies, and QA/QC lists.Works with TAB and controls contractors during the commissioning phase.Chairs Cx meetings and records minutes for key stakeholders.Aids in the troubleshooting of HVAC systems as needed.Partners with the Cx manager to mentor commissioning interns.Completes commissioning scopes on identified projects.Actively embodies and reinforces the Hearts & Minds Safety Culture of the Company.Develops job-specific commissioning forms and supports commissioning technicians.Documents and achieves project-specific turnover schedules.Completes project closeout packages, including owner's training documentation and commissioning manuals.CONDUCT STANDARDS:Maintains appropriate Company confidentiality at all times.Protects the assets of the Company and ethically upholds the Code of Conduct & Ethics in all situations.Cultivates and promotes the "Hearts & Minds" safety culture.Consistently exemplifies the Core Values of the Company (we CARE, we act with INTEGRITY, we are INNOVATIVE, and we are ACCOUNTABLE).WORK ENVIRONMENT:This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.Work duties may regularly necessitate visits to field job sites, during which the incumbent may utilize basic tools (measuring tape, screwdriver, wrench, etc.), and be intermittently exposed to the conditions and hazards typically associated with a construction site.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.S/he may occasionally be required to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb, or reach.This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objectsTRAVEL:This position may require up to 40% travel.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in a construction related field or equivalent.&/spa
