Exceptional candidates will be eager to work with others and be comfortable constantly communicating with suppliers, staff, and customers through email, phone, and in-person meetings.h5spanApplications Engineer Job Opening/span/h5ulliMaintain and foster relationships with automotive OEMs and the Tier one and two suppliers./liliIdentify the decision makers in companies and create partnerships with them./liliFind and follow up on business opportunities by advising customers on technical solutions and giving technical support./liliOversee the engineering functions for customers, serving as a customer advocate with staff./liliManage specification review, development of products, design reviews, system reviews, prototyping, launches, auditing customers, and ensuring quality and warranty specifications./liliMove between several different teams, seeking out feedback and probing for information across sales, program management, quality control, logistics, and manufacturing./liliCreate and deliver technical presentations and product training sessions for various customers./liliWork with customers throughout a programrsquo;s life cycle to ensure their continued approval./li/ulspanJob Requirements:/spanulliBachelorrsquo;s of Science in mechanical engineering or a related field./liliA minimum of two years of exposure to the bearing industry, preferably working on powertrain and chassis systems and bearing applications./liliA thorough knowledge of bearings, their design, and calculating life and contact stress./liliA deep understanding of the process in which bearings are manufactured and the related components to the process./liliPrevious experience working in a quality control role is a significant positive./liliA past position working with the North American auto industry is a necessity, and preferably some experience providing technical support for products to OEMrsquo;s and Tier one and two suppliers./liliExceptional communication skills in writing, over the phone, and in person./liliExcellent time management skills./liliA demonstrated ability to provide tech support to stimulate business growth across a wide client base./li/ula title="" href=""
