Description:
NX Product Designer
Use Siemens NX 9 and Teamcenter CAD DESIGN software to generate 3D solid DESIGNs, assemblies, and associated drawings for complex products, mechanisms, and / or complete components, sub-systems of vehicles. This position is working in Product Design for the Future Engineering Group. Work independently with supervision. Work directly with engineer or customer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Vehicle DESIGN background, in-depth understanding of products and manufacturing operations. Competent in 3D CAD, including solid modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and drafting. Ability to evaluate basic tolerance stack-up. Ability to create parametric solids and free form surfaces. Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning tolerancing (GD&T). Working knowledge of Product Data Management file systems. Basic understanding of Configuration Management concepts. Basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, trigonometry. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Oral and written communication. Analytical skills to solve complex problems.

Experience Required:
3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Education Required:
College degree (associates) or equivalent training/experience. Experienced in use of CAD for model creation.
