table width="624"tbodytrtd width="493"Responsible for the research, design, development, manufacture, and testing of tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices; research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects; investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew; coordinate and support the installation, operation, maintenance and repairs of mechanical devices to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications; utilize Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project Management Tool, CANalyzer, CATIA V5, MATLAB Simulink, SPSS, Minitab, R-language, DVPR, DFMEA and MS Visio to perform duties; develop, coordinate, or monitor aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs; conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems; write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects; confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information; research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications; and support the implementation of operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information to management and team members.Location: Southfield, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;Salary: $82,555 per year;/td/trtrtd width="493"Education: Masters ndash; Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Energy Engineering or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);Training: NoneExperience: Six (6) months in the position above, as a Validation Engineer, as a Research Assistant ndash; Asst.
