As a Thermal Engineer you will be part of a small R&D; Innovation team developing products and services utilizing future technology. We are looking for a candidate to work with us on innovative products and services inside and outside the vehicle spectrum. Candidate must be creative and collaborative. What you'll be doing:

  • Conceptualizing new product and service ideas

  • Developing quick turnaround mockups and prototypes.

  • Develop innovative solutions for challenging problems.

  • Work with internal cross functional teams to develop a working model or PoC (proof of concept).

  • Learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies.

Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Thermal) (preferred)

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Thermal Engineer.

  • Able to create drawing and models of prototypes and to evaluate/test using simulation.

  • Knowledge of Heat Transfer, Thermodynamic, and Refrigeration Principles a must.

  • Able to Construct prototypes and confirm designs using engineering best practices

  • Ability to take ideas from concept to prototype.

  • Ability to vet technical requirements from cross-functional R&D; groups.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a strong sense of self-direction.

  • Pro-active attitude.
