Sr. Engineer Automation Manufacturing Technology
Read and Edit PLC logic,
Program and troubleshoot robotics,
Read and evaluate electrical schematics,
Troubleshoot using meters, laptop, schematics and manuals,
Motivated to continuous improvement in the process to maintain optimum operation conditions and plant productivity.
Work independently and take ownership while working in a team environment.
Demonstrate customer focus by continually meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Programming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems including PLC’s, HMI’s, robotics, drives and computers.
Modifications and improvements to automation equipment.
Review work orders and receives verbal instructions on job assignments.
Troubleshooting support of production equipment.
Respond to emergency requests for immediate repairs.
Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
Maintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activities.
Performs preventative maintenance procedures following an established program.
Follows applicable codes and regulations.
Cleans immediate work areas.
Performs other duties incidental to the position, as assigned.
Maintain safe work environment and follow all safety standards.
Comply with all OSHA standards and Textron health & safety standards.
Comply with all ISO 14001 standards.
Comply with all TS 16949 standards.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, will consider candidates with Technical Associates Degree and equivalent practical work experience.
Previous work experience functioning in practical hands on experience in manufacturing
Understanding of Blow Molding processes
Formal training in Problem Solving Methodology (black belt) preferred
Robotic programing is a plus
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Programs
A proven self-starter, able to work with minimal supervison
