Vehicle Electrical Engineer

The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform military ground vehicles? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to prototyping critical electronic systems that perform reliably and safely. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.

You’ll develop electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. You’ll confirm systems’ and components' capabilities by designing testing methods and testing properties. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer to help us design and develop new capabilities for legacy ground vehicles. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with specializing in systems of systems integrations on vehicle platforms

  • Knowledge of PCB design, firmware development, and communication protocols, including Controller Area Network (CAN), RS-232/422 standards, Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) networking, USB, 1553 standards

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with computers and in-vehicle data networks

  • Experience with DoD communications equipment

  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • MA or MS degree in EE or related field
