uEngineer II ndash; Mechanical (full-time, one position)/uZF Passive Safety Systems US, Inc seeks in Washington, MI to perform nonlinear structural analysis on airbag, seat belt, steering wheel components, and module assemblies for Passive Safety Systems. Validate simulation results using test data. Optimize airbag module and seat belt designs using CAE simulation tools. Develop and conduct physical testing to quantify input loads and data for analysis. Perform project planning and scheduling analysis projects. Provide efficient communication and documentation of analysis results. Interact with product design engineers, test engineers, designers, and program management personnel. Advance use of analytical technique in product design and development. Must have Masterrsquo;s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus two years engineering experience. One of the two years must include experience with FE models and HyperWorks. In lieu of the above education and experience requirements, we will accept a Bachelorrsquo;s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus five years progressive post-bachelorrsquo;s engineering experience. One of the five years must include experience with FE models and HyperWorks. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
