ThisChemist position will be located within our Research and Development Plant and will be responsible for oversight of metallic and non-metallic composition testing. Qualification of analytical instruments, method development, and training of laboratory personnel.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 months working in an analytical chemistry internship, lab, or co-op environment
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Analytical laboratory experience in organic chemistry, utilizing FTIR, UV-Vis, LC/LC-MS, GC/GC-MS
Strong statistical and root cause analysis background.
Effective written/oral communication with ability to convey ideas.
Background in polymers and plastics, with experience in sample preparation, method development and quantitative analytical techniques.
