This * Quality Engineer * position * ** is located within our Plant 4 operations and *will resolve manufacturing & shipment issues relative to customer specifications. Support the administration of quality manuals, continuous improvement initiatives & interaction with business center personnel on quality initiatives. Root cause analysis & corrective/preventative action determined as appropriate.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
3 years’ experience working with quality systems in a manufacturing environment.

This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Thorough understanding of ISO/AS9100 quality systems and Nadcap special processes.
ASQ CQA and/or CQE highly desirable
Ability to read & interpret blueprint specifications
Good PC skills, written & verbal communications skills
Must work well in a team environment & commit to continuous improvement
Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause & Corrective Action analysis, & auditing methodology.
